This is my final product.
While my product without my textures would be:
Ok so I will start explaining how I made my Virus Scan model.
This is my body (sphere)
For this, I used a plane
While using a plane, the way I used to "curve" or bend it in by using vertex tool and move by an axis.
The way I used to 'connect' it into my sphere and with the shield is with 2 equal rectangular boxes, I just created it and duplicated the box.
Upon doing that I carefully placed the boxes and the plane together to make it look as though it is attached onto the shield itself.
For this, the part to let my virus scan hover is created by using a polygon pipe and duplicating it.
For this I used a polygon pipe and I changed the thickness so it is not thick as it is by default.
For my eye of my machine, I used another sphere to match according to my "shield" and let it be a little bit seperated from my original body sphere so that it can look as though it is protruding outwards.
Textures
This texture is called "dark metal"
This is a robot eye texture
This texture is called white linen cloth texture. I used this as it looks white, and it has small textures to make it look robotic: For example:
The white body texture has small dots.
For my robot eye, I used the eye texture and went to Planar mapping and played around with the settings, and therefore slowly placing the texture with the move tool.
For this texture, every part of my textures is used with blinn.
This is an example for the animation:
